Hair breakages actually do happen a lot.
✨Some are natural shedding of dead strands.
✨Some over manipulation of hair strands.
✨Transitioning back to your natural hair also comes with breakages. The breakages could be excess if you don’t get on a care routine.
✨Weather conditions can also cause hair breakage and even hormonal changes
✨Your body reactions to some particular drug types.

I’ll just be focusing on giving you tips to take track of your hair breakage so as to know when there is excess breakage and trace the cause and help reduce it.
1.) Drink water/Hydrate your Strands/Seal in Moisture.
2.) Have Periodic Hair Trims….Most hairs on your ends are dead and that’s why they fall off. Trim off dead ends at set times to keep tract of the main part of your hair that you should nurture.
3.) Avoid Brushing/Combing Dry Strands.

And if your strands are fragile, consider strand strengthening regimens, hair foods that promote strand strength, Hop on healthy products that promote strand strength and be consistent with using them for noticeable results.

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW ABOUT MY OILY SCALP?
The sebaceous gland beneath the scalp skin produces a natural oil called sebum which keeps the scalp moisturized and protects the scalp from infections.
Sebum is a complex mixture of fatty acids, sugars, waxes and other natural chemicals that form a protective barrier against water evaporation.
Whenever the scalp skin doesn’t have enough sebum, it loses water and feels dry. The sebaceous gland plays an important role in helping with determining the nature of One’s scalp.
The rate at which the sebaceous gland produces oil differs for different individuals and is influenced by various factors.(internal or external factors).
An oily scalp is very oily and is often characterized with Slick Hair. Oily Scalp is caused by hyperactive sebaceous glands lying beneath the scalp. The hyperactive sebaceous gland leads to excess sebum secretion.
Excess sebum secretion by the sebaceous gland often causes the oily scalp and in severe cases the excess sebum produced clogs the hair roots and likely causes loss of hair strands and dandruff could develop.
Oily scalp could be pretty inconvenient and tiring to maintain and this creates desperation to look for ways to stop the oiliness, However while dealing with oily scalp, an approach to studying and making observations can help one with the right maintenance and effective care procedures for the oily scalp.

Cortisol is the primary stress hormone. It increases sugars (glucose) in the bloodstream, enhances your brain’s use of glucose and increases the availability of substances that repair tissues. Cortisol is know to affect the function and cyclic regulation of hair follicles
High level of Cortisol can affect the rate at which the sebaceous gland functions. It can cause the sebaceous gland to become hyperactive and may cause it to function lessees than required. When the sebaceous gland below the scalp skin become hyperactive, it often results into oily scalp.
